How to Make Quick & Easy Chain Earrings at Home

In this tutorial, I'll show you how to make chain earrings. You’ll need a few supplies, listed below, a wire cutter, and some pliers. With the right tools, you’ll be making tons of these earrings with all sorts of beads!
Tools and materials:
- Oval rolo chain
- Beaded chain
- Pair of Tierra cast charms
- 2 Jump rings
- 2 Balled headpins
- 2 Ear wires
- Wirecutter
- Round nose pliers
- Bent chain pliers
- Regular pliers
1. Prepare the earring components
Using a wire cutter, cut a length of beaded chain with three full links of beads, ensuring there is a ring connector on each end. Cut one more link so you have an extra bead.
Cut two lengths of rolo chain 12 links long each. Use your head pin to help you hold and measure the chain.
Thread your loose bead onto your balled headpin.
Use regular pliers to bend the headpin in a loop above the bead. Check the video at 3:33 to see how the loop should look.
Now use the pliers to continue twisting the headpin around the base of the loop. Trim off any excess piece of the headpin.
2. Assemble the earring
Open one jump ring and place one of the pieces of cut rolo chain onto it. Then place one of the beaded chain pieces on the jump ring, and then another piece of rolo chain. Close up the jump ring.
Open the second jump ring and place your wrapped loose bead onto it. Then add one of the charms to that ring.
Now insert the second jump ring into the link at the bottom of the beaded chain on the first jump ring. Close up the second jump ring.
Hold the earring so that the two rolo chains fall on either side of the beaded chain. Insert one ear wire into the top of the earring and tighten the ear wire.
Repeat for the second earring.
