Quick, Easy, and Beautiful: Leather Earrings

I love some DIY accessories, especially ones that are a little different. These easy leather earrings are fun to make, easy to design and so exciting to wear!
Tools and materials:
- Leather
- Pattern - I drew a freehand teardrop shape for mine
- Scissors
- Adhesive spray
- Lace
- Fabric glue
- Tassels
- Hole puncher
- Ear wire
Cut out your leather
Place your teardrop-shaped cut out over your leather and use it as a guide for your earring. Next, place your earring on a small piece of paper and spray adhesive spray all around it. Now that your leather is sticky, take a piece of lace and press it against along the bottom of the earring (as pictured above).
Build the earring
Cut off the excess lace and then repeat the previous steps three more times until you have four matching teardrop pieces. Now, take two of the pieces and turn one over so it's the wrong side up. Place four drops of fabric glue along the bottom of the teardrop and place tassels along the edge (see picture above). Next, place glue on the rest of the body of the earring and glue your earring together, the wrong sides together.
Finish the earring
Punch a small hole in the corner of the teardrop and place a small metal hoop through the hole. After that attach the ear wire to the metal loop and twist it shut.
There you have it, DIY leather earrings! I love how these turned out, and how easy they are to make your own. If you decide to give them a try, be sure to show me what you’ve created!
