Draw an arrow

Draw an arrow on the popsicle stick. You can make yours longer or shorter, I just chose to go with the length I wanted for myself.

Cut it out

Sand the rough edges

Once you’ve done this, repeat the process and make another arrow that is the same size.

Paint them

I went for soft, pastel colors, but you can go for whatever colors you like.

Drill

Make a hole in the outer corner. I used a thick polystyrene block to drill on top of.

Glue

Glue the pieces together so that they are side by side with the holes on the outer sides.

Construct the earring

Cut the chain, attach jump rings to either side of it, then insert the jump rings through the holes in the popsicle sticks. Lastly, attach the earring wire to the middle of the chain.

And this is what the finished earring looks like. I love them because they’re so unexpected and out of the box. Who would have thought that you could turn some popsicle sticks into a cute accessory? If you’re looking for a low-cost gift that you can make for friends, this is a great option.

You could use nail polish to pain them also! Some polish has glitter😲

How about adding tiny tassels? Maybe the opposite color tassel on each side: pink tassel on green side, green tassel on pink side?
