When tying a low bun, you don’t want it wobbling about everywhere, and you also don’t want it to require loads of bobby pins that can poke out or fall out.

Here, I’m going to show you a low bun with a hat hairstyle that doesn’t require any bobby pins. It is super secure and has a really stylish twisted look too.

Tools and materials:

  • Two hair elastics
Pulling out ponytail

1. Pull out ponytail

First, tie your hair into a ponytail, pop on a baseball cap, and pull your pony out through the back of it.

Tying knot

2. Tie a knot

Split your ponytail into two and tie the two sides together into a knot.

Tying hair

3. Repeat

Now repeat this step twice more and tie two more knots.

How many knots you are able to tie will obviously depend, however, on how long your hair is.

Wrapping hair

4. Wrap hair around

When you reach the end of your ponytail, cross the two sides together on the top of your bun, then bring them down and tuck them underneath the bottom.

Adding hair tie

5. Add a hair tie

Finish the look by securing the bun with another hair tie.

Here is the finished low bun. Not only was it super quick to create and very secure, but it also looks really cute.

I love the effect that the multiple knots create. What do you think? Comment down below.
