12 Makeup Tips That Changed My Life
Hi everyone. Today, I have some makeup tips that have changed my life! These tips don't get enough recognition, so I’m going to share them with you. Let’s get started.
Tools and materials:
- Concealer
- Gel or water-based moisturizer
- Bronzer
- Contour
- Eyeshadow
- Eye primer
- Eyelash curler
- Mascara
- Lip liner
- Brow pencil
- Brow pen
1. Do your makeup in the lighting you’re going to be seen in
2. To avoid gray under eyes, don’t go directly in with a brightening concealer
Use a concealer in your skin shade or a color corrector first.
3. Use a gel or water-based moisturizer under your eyes
This will give you the best concealer application.
4. For a realistic-looking tan, use a slightly reddish bronzer
This tells the eye it came from the sun.
5. Add a lighter concealer to the area above your dark circle line
This will help with hollow under eyes.
6. Use a contour that’s slightly darker and grayer than your skin shade
This mimics the color of your existing shadows.
7. Place your contour under where you want your cheekbone and jaw to sit
8. To prevent eyeshadow creasing, use an eye primer instead of concealer
9. When applying your eyeliner, open your eyes and rest your eyelids
Align the metal part of your lash curler to the angle of your lash liner. This will lift the lashes from the root.
10. Look in the opposite direction of where you’re applying the mascara to
11. If you have a double lip line, line the inner one on the sides and the outer one in the center
12. Use a brow pencil and pen combo for the most realistic looking hairs
