When you’re enjoying some summer water time, at the beach or in the pool, who wants to cut that time short to let their swimsuit dry out before packing it up? Not me!

Tools and materials:
- Wet swimsuit
- Salad spinner
- Dry towel
- Wet bag
1. Why you shouldn’t pack a wet swimsuit
When you’re trying to eke out every last minute in the water, it’s tempting to just throw your wet swimsuit into a plastic bag to take home and deal with later.
But if you do that, then you’re packing up sweat, sunscreen, chlorine, even bacteria, along with your swimsuit.
So, you have to rinse all that off before you do anything else.
2. Spin your wet swimsuit
After rinsing, stick your wet swimsuit into a salad spinner, and give it a good spin to remove the excess water.
3. Roll your swimsuit
If you don’t have a salad spinner, simply lay your wet swimsuit on a folded dry towel (folded for extra absorption), and roll up the towel with the swimsuit inside.
Gently press down on the towel to remove excess water.
4. Use a wet bag
Remove your swimsuit from the salad spinner or the towel, whichever you have used, and drop it into a wet bag for packing.
Once you're home, just hang your still damp swimsuit to dry it completely.
How to pack a wet swimsuit
That’s it! No more getting home with a sipping wet swimsuit. Just rinse, spin or roll, and pack.
You will also be keeping your swimsuit in good condition so it lasts longer.
