No Braiding Required for This Easy Half-up Hairstyle
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you a gorgeous half-up hairstyle that doesn’t require any braiding.
If you love casual half-up, half-down hairstyles, this has your name written all over it. Let’s jump on in!
Tools and materials:
- Tail comb
- Hair elastics
- Hair tie
1. Twist hair
Divide your hair down the center, then take a small section of hair on one side and twist it.
Twist it to the end of the top of your head. Don’t bring it down the length of your hair.
2. Tie twist
Tie the end of the twist with a hair elastic.
3. Repeat
Repeat on the other side of your hair.
4. Tie two sides together
Bring the two sections together, leave about a 1-inch gap, and then tie them with a hair tie.
5. Flip over
Bring the ponytail through the hole and flip it through.

Here is the finished half-up, half-down hairstyle that didn’t involve any braiding!
