Blazer Styling Tips

Blazers have made a pretty big fashion comeback! In this lookbook, I will show you some great ways to style a blazer. In my opinion, a blazer is a staple piece in any wardrobe that can make an outfit. Here are 6 different ways to style a blazer.

Style a blazer

Style an oversized, denim blazer

This oversized denim blazer is so gorgeous but it definitely has a more masculine feel to it. I decided to pair it with this black, mini dress and my black heels to balance out the masculinity of the blazer. The yellow bag adds a fun pop of color. This is a great ‘date night’ or ‘dinner with the girls’ outfit.

Blazer style

In the next look, I style the blazer in a co-ord suit since it came with these baggy denim trousers. Two-piece sets are so on-trend right now so I love this look! The white crop top, chunky shoes, and sunglasses make this outfit 90s inspired. These first two looks show how versatile one blazer can be!

Easy blazer style

Style a corset blazer

I am absolutely in love with this pink, corset blazer! It is so structured and fitted which sometimes makes it a little bit hard to style. In this look, I went for a pair of blue jeans that continue the shape of the blazer and add to that structure. I added a pair of white heels and a shoulder bag to complete this look.

Style with long shorts

In this next look, I paired the corset blazer with long shorts. I wasn’t quite sure about this look because I normally wouldn’t wear shorts like these but I think they work quite well with the blazer. I decided to wear clear heels in this look because the outfit is already busy with the blazer and shorts.

Style with knee-high boots

Style a long, white blazer

I love pairing this long, white blazer with shorts! Firstly, I love the long blazer against the length of the shorts and I also love the contrast between the formal blazer and casual pair of shorts. I added a black top to this look and, of course, completed the outfit with my black, knee-high boots.

How to style a white blazer

I decided to keep this next look pretty casual! I added a white bodysuit under the blazer and paired the look with ripped jeans and my orange converse. I think this makes the perfect ‘back to school’ look! A blazer is a piece that can take any outfit to the next level! Let me know which look you like best in the comments!

The Corset blazer looks phenomenal on you, and with the lighted colored jeans and shorts it’ creates a soft romantic look. I first thought the shorts were the jeans but with high boots on which would be amazing too! (I didn’t enlarge the photos on my phone), and thought WOW, to all of these but the corset is my fav in these. Really shows off your great figure!

Hi Chrissie, FYI the baggy pants and oversized blazer are reminiscent of the Zoot Suit beginning in the 30s. Most if not all trends started somewhere and this style started in the streets and not a designer idea. I have taken the liberty to add a link for a quick review but you can do your own research also :). https://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/brief-history-zoot-suit-180958507/
