3 Ways to Wear a Red Gossip Girl Coat
Here, I’m going to show you three ways that you can style a red coat inspired by Gossip Girl.
Let’s dive into the three different outfits that I’ve put together.
1. White blouse and heels
For the first look, I’m wearing flared black pants, a white shirt, and black heels.
The shoes, being the same color as the pants, elongate my legs and make me appear taller.
Also, the black and white clothes act as a nice neutral base and don’t compete with the coat for attention.
2. Sweater and sneakers
For the next look, I’ve chosen a pair of light-wash denim jeans, white sneakers, and a cute sweater.
I love how the red love hearts on the sweater complement the red coat. They’re also a slightly darker shade of red, which adds a bit of range of color to the mix.
Once again, the fact that the outfit is in light colors means that it’s not competing with the coat for attention and really allows the coat to be the statement piece.
3. Stripes
Last up, I’m wearing black skinny jeans, black boots, and a black and white striped sweater.
I like how the stripes on the sweater add some pattern to the look, making it more visually interesting.
This is such a cute, casual outfit that you can wear everyday.
