In damp and humid climates clothes and towels can get a musty smell and I have some tips and tricks for you to eliminate those terrible odors. You can see more of my crazy creations here

Even after traveling, clothes can get a musty smell if you went somewhere humid and they were trapped in a suitcase. Towels are the worst at collecting musty smells and odors.

Place 1/2 cup baking soda in with your DIY detergent from above and they will work together to fight that musty smell.

Alternatively, you can use 1 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup lemon juice with no detergent.

Place the ingredients in your washing machine with your musty-smelling clothing, bedding, towels, and any other items with that nasty smell and odor.

You can find my DIY Laundry detergent recipe here. (It's an all natural laundry detergent and you'll find many more natural laundry recipes in this post)

When they come out of the washing machine they will smell nice and fresh. Move the clothes to the dryer and dry them as usual. Want to have some natural dryer sheets? Check out my post here for dryer sheets and other laundry tips
