How to Do a Rose Gold Eyeshadow Look With a Metallic Halo

If you want to create a really dramatic eye makeup look, then follow this tutorial. I will show you how to do halo eye makeup with rose gold eyeshadow, defined eyebrows, and metallic liquid eyeliner. This halo eye makeup is going to turn heads, so let’s get started!
Tools and materials:
- Face moisturizer
- Color-correcting makeup
- Concealer
- Foundation powder
- Cream contour palette
- Translucent powder
- Eyebrow pencil
- Kohl eyeliner
- Eyeshadow (pink, burgundy, rose gold, and shimmery green)
- Jelly highlighter
- Lipstick
- Assorted makeup brushes and sponges
1. Prepare your face
Always start a makeup routine by moisturizing your face.
Then color-correct any blemished areas on your face. Dab on your color-correcting makeup and blend it in with a small soft makeup brush.
Use a makeup sponge to press in your foundation.
2. Highlight your under-eye area
Apply concealer to your under-eye area.
And use concealer to highlight your T-zone and your chin. Use a makeup sponge to blend in the concealer.
3. Add contouring
Apply a cream contouring product to your cheekbones, the sides of your nose, and your forehead. Blend it out with a large brush on your cheeks and forehead, and a small brush on your nose.
4. Set your makeup base
Apply translucent powder all over your face to set the base.
5. Add color to your cheeks
Apply a bronze contour shade to your cheekbones and forehead, and a rose-colored contour shade on your cheeks.
6. Define your brows
Fill in your eyebrows and use the curly end of the eyebrow pencil to brush your brows.
7. Rose gold halo eyeshadow look
Start with a light pink shade of eyeshadow on your upper eyelids.
Use a black kohl eye pencil to create a half-moon shape around your lower eyelids. Use a brush to smudge out the pencil. That will really intensify the halo effect.
Apply a rich burgundy shade of eyeshadow over your black halo line, and blend it in with a brush. Continue adding color and blending until you get your desired intensity.
Apply concealer to the center of your lower eyelids below the crease.
Now, add rose-gold shimmery eyeshadow on top of the concealer, covering the area of your eyelid that is outlined by the half-moon.
Smudge out the edges where the rose-gold eyeshadow meets the previously applied burgundy, so you have a smooth gradient of color.
Add an extra pop of color by applying a green shimmery metallic eyeshadow to the crease of your eyelid.
Finally, add black kohl eyeliner to your lower eyelid water line.
Smudge and blend out the eyeliner.
Extend the burgundy eyeshadow to the area just under your eye, below the eyeliner.
I made the look even more dramatic with some false eyelashes and mascara.
8. Finish with more highlighter
Use a jelly highlighter on your cheekbones. Tap it on with your fingertip.
Then blend on a light powder highlighter over the jelly highlighter, and also down the center of your nose, your brow bone, the inner corners of your eyes, and the center of your lower eyelids.
9. Don’t forget your lips
Apply a beautiful deep pink lipstick to your lips, using the same shade to outline and fill in your lips.
Then, to lighten your lips a bit and give them some dimension, tap on some concealer to the center of your lips and blend it in with your fingertip.
