Sleek Ponytail Tutorial That Covers All Rubber Bands
Check out how I create a super sleek ponytail where all hair elastics are hidden. This hairstyle is built on some Cuvee Beauty products.
Just follow along with my step-by-step tutorial to get the look.
Best hair booster oil!
Tools and materials:
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Blowout cream
- Hair dryer
- Hair brush
- Hair tie
- Essential booster oil
- Clear hair elastics
1. Wash, condition and apply cream
After using shampoo and conditioner and rinsing, apply blowout cream to damp hair.
Use your fingers and focus the cream on the bottom half of your hair.
2. Blow dry
Use your blow dryer with the concentrator nozzle to dry your hair from above.
Use a brush to help dry the ends.
Also use the brush to dry well in between the layers.
3. Make a ponytail
Secure a low ponytail with a hair tie.
Then take a section of hair and wrap it around to cover the hair tie.
Tuck the end in.
4. Apply booster oil and a clear hair elastic
Apply booster oil to your fingertips and run it through the length of the ponytail.
Then tie a clear hair elastic a few inches below the base of the ponytail.
Wrap a strand of hair around the clear elastic to cover it and then tuck the end in.
5. Repeat
Place another clear elastic a few inches below the last and cover it by wrapping another strand of hair.
If your hair is long enough, repeat this again a few inches below.
6. Add volume
Pinch and pull carefully at each section to add volume.
Here’s the final result of this elevated, sleek ponytail:
