What I Wore: Vacation Edition

I just got back from the beach yesterday, and I'm already counting down until I get to go again in May. It truly is my happy place, especially after the year we've. I also enjoyed wearing something other than loungewear for a change.

Here's a look at a few of the outfits I wore, in case you have a tropical trip on the horizon and are looking for inspo.

I always travel comfy. It was chilly when we left, so I opted for my favorite amazon leggings, a layering tank and a cozy oversized sweatshirt

Our final destination was Florida, but we stopped over for a couple nights in Chattanooga, TN (you can see what we did HERE). Since we mostly did active things all day and it wasn’t super warm, I went with layers: Another pair of cute leggings, an oversized tee, a sweatshirt and a vest. That way, I could shed things throughout the day if I needed.

For dinner in TN, I’m so glad I packed this midi skirt and jean jacket. It was pretty chilly and we ate outside, but I still felt cute and put together in this look. Topped it off with the mules I can’t stop raving about!

When we finally made it to the beach, I pretty much parked myself there all week. I wore this two-piece swimsuit and this one-piece swimsuit (both SO flattering) and loved how easy this coverup was to throw on. My trusty rubber Birkenstock dupes (similar pink ones here) are always my go-to for the beach or pool. A cute beach bag, headband, sunglasses and sunscreen are my other essentials!

The panhandle in March isn’t technically shorts and tank weather, so I was happy I packed this transitional outfit for a day out. Distressed denim, a lightweight waffle knit top and white sandals still felt beachy without having to freeze my booty off. This hat and backpack purse also came everywhere with me.

Pretty sure this dress was made for beach photos. It’s the comfiest, most lightweight piece of clothing I’ve ever put on my body. And this hat was the cherry on top.

This top is another amazon fave! I wore it with shorts and sandals to grab ice cream one night, which is fitting since the colors resemble sherbet. And how cute is this straw clutch with removable shoulder strap??
