Summer Workwear Inspo

Dressing for a hot summer day is never easy. And finding a work-appropriate outfit when all you want to wear is a swimsuit (by the pool) is extra hard. To give you some workwear inspo, I rounded up a few of my favorite summer office looks.

I love a colorful top to snazz up a work outfit! This one is an old print, but I love this new palm pattern, which just screams summer. My office is very casual, so jeans are appropriate for me, but you could always swap out the jeans for a work pant. Add a block-heeled sandal and you’re set!

A simple way to take a summer dress into the office is to throw on a blazer. I love a sweater blazer for its stretch, which is nice when it’s warm and sticky outside. A patterned mule or sandal is a great addition to a dress and blazer combo to keep it fun.

Skirts are my best work accessory in the warmer months. The longer length in the front and back on this one makes it great for the office, and it pairs really nicely with this ruffle blouse. I’m always cold at my desk, so I add a lightweight cardigan as a top layer. Black studded flats keep this outfit work appropriate, and you can always bring a change of shoes to take this cute look into happy hour.

A fun ruffle top is a summer workwear staple. I paired mine with my all-time favorite work pants. Shoes are always a sure way to add fun to a classic look like this one. And, you can’t go wrong with leopard wedges or flats.
