Late Summer Workwear
The transition back to work after being off all summer is kind of tricky in the Midwest. Still plenty hot and although school and fall sports are kicking off, the hot weather hangs on so ya gotta keep the cooler clothes out a bit longer. I will share a few staple pieces and how I’ve styled them.
I love these pixie pants from Old Navy! I have them in black and this houndstooth pattern and the fit is great! The rise is just perfect, and I was able to order in the shorter length so they still keep the slight cropped feel for a short gal like me. Love that option for most of Old Navy‘s pants.

They will pair great with a sweater when it cools off, but I went with this adorable knit sweater tank from Maurice’s and my favorite blush colored block heels.

This adorable flowy top is from Shein and I’ve gotten tons of compliments on it. It comes in a several color options as well. Great with jeans or dressed up a little more with slacks or black jeans.

This layered ruffle sleeve blouse from Shein is such a great work piece. It is easy to dress up with a simple black pant but also can be worn with some darker jeans for a business-casual look. The color is a bright orange as you can see in the outside light photo to the right. There are a few color options.
