Looking for a half-up half-down hairstyle? Try out this braided crown look with me!
It would be great for a wedding, prom or any formal event. Let’s get started!
Tools and materials:
- 2 clear hair elastics
- Bobby pins
1. Make two 3-strand braids
Start by making a small, 3-strand braid on either side of your face. Tie each off with a clear, hair elastic.
Then gently pinch and pull at the sections of each braid for added texture.
2. Pin the braids
Grab one of the braids and lay it around the back of your head. Then secure it in place with a bobby pin.
Next, wrap the 2nd braid around and secure it in place above the other braid.
You may need a bunch of bobby pins, depending on your hair type.
Use them to secure the ends which you can hide by tucking them into the braids.
Here the final look of this half-up half-down braided hairstyle:

I love the look but when you begin it appears you put something in your hair at the top where you start to braid it. What is that?
