This DIY Hair Treatment is FOOD for Your Hair

Here, I have a DIY hair treatment to show you that uses green tea for hair.


It will leave you with thicker, stronger, and shinier hair. It is so easy to make and I’m going to show you just what you need to do. Let’s get started!

Tools and materials:

  • Tea leaves
  • Hot water
  • Peppermint essential oil
  • Rosemary essential oil
  • Lavender essential oil
  • Glass
  • Spray bottle
  • Comb
Adding water to tea bag

1. Pour water on tea bag

Place a tea bag of either green tea or black tea inside a glass and pour boiling water over it.

Soaking

2. Leave to soak

Leave the tea bag to soak for 15 minutes and then wait for it to cool down.

Transferring

3. Transfer to spray bottle

Transfer the liquid to a spray bottle.

Adding essential oil

4. Add essential oil

Add five drops of all of the following - peppermint essential oil, rosemary essential oil, and lavender essential oil.

Shaking

5. Mix everything together

Shake the bottle to mix everything together.

Applying to hair

6. Apply to hair

To use, apply the liquid all over your scalp and comb it through and massage it in clockwise and anti-clockwise. Leave it overnight.
