This Hairstyle Keeps Your Silk Scarf Secure in Your Hair
Hey guys! I want to show you one of my favorite hairstyles with a silk scarf. This is a really fun, boho chic look.
Tools and materials:
- Scarf
- Hair ties
1. Twisty pigtails
Start by making pigtails at the back of your head.
Take one of the pigtails and split open the hair above the hair tie and flip the pigtail through it to create a twist.
Do the same to the other pigtail.
2. Thread your scarf into your hair
Take your scarf and thread it through the opening of the pigtails where you created the twist.
Pull it through so the ends of the scarf hang equally on each side.
3. Use the scarf to create braids
Take one of the pigtails and split the ends in half so you have two sections.
Take the two sections and the scarf and use them to create a braid.
Do the same with the other pigtail and the other half of the scarf. Tie the ends with a hair tie.
4. Tie and tuck
At the back of the head, cross the braids over to the opposite sides and wrap them around your head bringing them together at the top of your forehead.
Use the ends of the scarf to tie the braids together.
Wrap and tuck the remaining ends of the scarf around and into the braids.

Nice look. What size scarf did you use?
I did this many years ago when I was younger and kept my hair long. I am happy to see that someone else is doing this. It looks absolutely beautiful on you.
