How to Do Fun Wonder Woman Makeup For Halloween
Welcome to this tutorial on how to transform yourself into Wonder Woman. I’m going to a superhero-themed Halloween party soon and here I wanted to share with you my Wonder Woman makeup. I have my outfit already, but I don’t have a headpiece so I’m going to incorporate the crown into my makeup look.
Tools and materials:
- Eyebrow pencil
- Foundation
- Eyeshadow
- Eyeliner
- False lashes
- Mascara
- Red lipstick
- Face paint
- Highlighter
- Body glitter
- Curl cream
1. Base
The first step is to do your main base face and eyebrows. Keep your forehead untouched, don’t even put any moisturizer on it just to ensure that all of the makeup and glitter will stick nicely to it. For my base face, I went for quite dramatic eyebrows for a bold Wonder Woman makeup look.
2. Eyes
Now put on some eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. Stick to neutral tones with just a little bit of sparkle. I may also put on some false lashes before I go out.
3. Crown
First, draw the bottom of the crown. Ensure that your hair is tied out the way when you’re drawing your crown.
Next, draw the star, in the middle of the crown, using some black face paint and a fine brush in the center of your forehead. When drawing the star I recommend dotting the points on first and then filling the star in, as that way you don’t have to freehand it completely.
Then fill in the star with some red lipstick or face paint.
For the main body of the crown, I've got a highlighter palette that melted and went all gooey so I’m going to use it as it isn’t good for anything else. You could also do this with a cream eyeshadow as well. Simply fill the crown in gold.
Then, before the crown dries completely, add some body glitter to finish it off. I used the glitter around the edges to outline the crown. Proceed to add some red body glitter to the star.
4. Lipstick
The last part of the makeup is to add some bright red lipstick.
5. Hair
Finally, to make my hair more like Wonder Woman, I just added some volume to the top of it with some curl cream

This is the finished makeup look and I love how it turned out. I just wish the star was the same shade of red as the lipstick so if you're putting glitter on the star I do just recommend checking the shade of it to make sure it matches.
It looks fabulous with my Wonder Woman outfit and the gold painted-on crown looks much better than any actual crown ever would!
