21 Black Skinny Jeans Outfits for Women
Wondering how to style your pair of black skinny jeans? I’ll be showing you 21 ways that you can wear them. Whether you want to go for something more sophisticated or casual, feminine or tomboyish - there’s a look here for you. Let’s jump right in:
Look 1
Black and white are always classic. Team plaid flannel skirt with skinny jeans. Then you have the perfect weekend look. When you need some extra warmth, throw on a long winter coat. Add a leopard scarf for an exciting fun element.
Look 2
Try wearing a white shirt, then drape a black turtleneck sweater over your shoulders to make it look cute. Remember to tuck in part of the bottom to get an interesting layered look.
Look 3
Transform a classic white shirt by layering up a black turtleneck sweater. An orange inner puffer punches the outfit up just enough to add personality.
Look 4
Wear a black turtleneck with black jeans, then change up the combo with a white teddy bear jacket for a cool-girl spin.
Look 5
Funky socks put personality into any outfit. A pair of red socks add a pop of color for some visual interest. Use adjusting shoe buckles to turn simple black heels into trendy Mary Janes. Mary Jane shoes play well with red socks to make the teddy bear outfit gorgeous.
Look 6
Add a little dimension and color to any look with the help of a bright sweater. Drape a red sweater over your shoulders to make an eye-catching choice.
Look 7
Who doesn’t love an all-black outfit? Just throw on a black coat to turn the look. You can easily change up your look with scarves for a small amount of money.
Look 8
Tired of wearing all black in winter? Why not try new things and switch up your style with a pastel blue coat? Add a black scarf to get a cleverly layered outfit.
Look 9
Team a black turtleneck and a gray pullover with black skinny jeans and a long black coat for a monochromatic look. Add a scarf to style up your look.
Look 10
Try it on with a gray hoodie, a black turtleneck, and black skinny jeans, then finish it off with the parka jacket. A perfect getup for weekends.
Look 11
Varying your outer layers is a quick way to switch up your outfit. I love to style a shirt dress all the way open as a long jacket to create a layered look, the level up the combination with a blue scarf.
Look 12
Layer a turtleneck underneath to create an extra sophisticated effect. The printed denim shirt has the same shade in it as the blue-gray turtleneck, which makes it all fit together. Add the same shade scarf to make it better.
Look 13
Put on the orange inner puffer jacket to take the art of mixing up to the next level.
Look 14
Feel like you have nothing to wear? Try out some fun combos of prints and colors. Put on a red inner blazer and some funky red socks with classic Mary Janes to keep it elevated.
Look 15
Style your red plaid flannel shirt with black skinny jeans, fishnet socks, and monk shoes. Lean into the relaxed, casual vibe by layering with a long shirt dress. Throw in a leopard scarf to work a punk rock-inspired outfit.
Look 16
Team the flannel shirt with a leopard print inner-parka and fishnet fringe scarf.
Look 17
Simply pair a beige turtleneck with nude heel pumps. You get this absolutely chic natural look.
Look 18
The black jeans and the long black coat pair perfectly with the beige turtleneck and give the right amount of contrast. A pair of nude heel pumps can make your outfit more feminine.
Look 19
Embellished with a pair of crew socks and monk shoes. Then put on a check blazer to give your outfit a preppy vibe.
Look 20
Layer a turtleneck underneath a crewneck sweater. Edge up the look with fishnet socks and monk shoes - the black jeans complete this tone-on-tone palette.
Look 21
The taupe puffer jacket and the nude tote bag pair seamlessly and give the right amount of contrast. They change up the otherwise all-black outfit.
Black skinny jeans are such a versatile piece of clothing, a real wardrobe staple. I hope that you’ve taken some inspiration from the looks that I’ve put together. Which outfit is your favorite?

Black skinnys are my go to so this was much needed!
Very nice! Can also be used as a plan for Capsule Styling & great for a minimal packing list. (Personally, I substitute navy blue for black.)
