Easy Upcycled Toy Earrings DIY
Need some new accessories?
It’s a snap to create a totally unique pair of earrings from a couple of bits from your kiddo’s collection of little toys!
Check out how simple it is to make a bunch of easy DIY Toy Earrings below!
Grab 2 small plastic toys, earring hooks, a couple of jump rings (mine are from a broken necklace), a candle, thick needle or pin + pliers (or whatever you have on hand) to put it all together.
Heat the needle over the candle.
Push the heated needle through the area of the plastic toy where you’d like the earring to hang from.
If you'd like to change the colour of the earrings go ahead and paint the toys with nail polish (or whatever paint you have on hand) and then protect them with a top coat to help prevent the polish (or paint) from flaking off.
Attach the jump rings and earring hooks to the toys and then go and make a whole bunch more from the rest of the excess of mini toys in your kiddo's collection!
Too cute and so simple to create! These make absolutely fantastic gifts as well and are very easy to personalize for just about everyone who wears earrings!
Creating your own accessories from bits you already have around the house is a snap with the free tutorials in my awesome accessories index!

So inspiring! My younger daughter wears a heart necklace made from two shaped Legos that, when attached to one another, form a heart and the color is dark red.
Girl, that is just ridiculously clever! I'm a guy, but you certainly inspired me...gonna rummage through my old board games!
