I don’t know why I’ve never thought of this before! This has to be the easiest fun hair accessory to make at this time of year.

You could make them in all the holiday colors or to match an outfit.

Tools and materials:

  • Mini gift bows
  • Kirby grips
  • Hot glue gun
Gift bows

1. Gift bows

Grab a pack of mini gift bows for a dollar. There are loads in a pack.

Get them all the same or a mix of colors.

You can always use the rest to decorate your gifts.

Kirby grips

2. Kirby grips

You only need two and I bet you have them lying around somewhere.

Removing back of bow

3. Remove the back

Take the sticky back completely off the bow. They peel off easily, just be careful not to tear the bow.

Gluing bow

4. Glue

Add a dab of glue from a hot glue gun to the center back of the bow, where the sticky part was.

Gluing to hair grip

5. Press

Press it to the top section of the Kirby grip, where the ridges are.

Letting clips dry

Let it dry while you make a second one.

Just clip them into your hair, wherever you want.

I used mine to pull my hair back from a center part.

You could draw your hair to the center back on both sides and hold it in place with these.

How will you use them? Comment down below.
