Red Statement Necklace for Spring
A statement necklace is a great way to instantly take a plain outfit to the next level. Back in my college days I was really obsessed with statement necklaces and bought a ton. Since I started “adulting” after college, I haven’t worn all the necklaces I’ve collected. It’s probably because of a lack of time to change in the morning and after work when I get home. Not that it’s that time consuming, I just decided to cut that step out of my routine. Now that I have my own place I’m staring at my necklaces more and want to start wearing them again. With spring arriving adding a red statement necklace is the perfect way to start incorporating them back into my outfits.
How to Wear a Red Statement Necklace
There’s honestly not too many wrong ways to wear a statement necklace. For example, my only rule is I don’t wear a statement necklace with a statement collar. This can come off a little flashy and I’m not a fan of that. Other than that it doesn’t matter how you layer on a statement necklace. For spring and summer in particular a red statement necklace is perfect.

Here are just 3 ways I’ve styled a statement necklace for spring this year. There are so many other ways statement necklaces can be worn, like preppy layers and accentuating a sweetheart neckline. My personal favorite way to wear a statement necklace is by carrying the color of the necklace throughout the rest of the outfit. Which combination is your favorite of the three?
