Turn Your Scarf Into a Tie With This Easy Tutorial!
I love silk scarves because they are a very versatile accessory - there is so much you can do with them.
In this quick tutorial, I’m going to show you how you can turn your scarf into a tie. Let me walk you through the steps!
Tools and materials:
- Silk scarf
1. Fold scarf in half
First, take a square silk scarf and fold it in half to make a triangle.
2. Fold scarf up
Proceed to fold the scarf, starting from the straight side until you reach the point. This will make the scarf into a thin rectangle shape.
3. Pass scarf through loop
Place the scarf around your neck asymmetrically so that you have one longer side and one shorter side.
On the longer side, create a loop at the top and pass the scarf through it.
4. Pass other side through loop
Then pass the other side of the scarf through the loop. Adjust the knot until you're happy with the look.
