Women's Wardrobe Essentials for Spring 2022
Personally I'll be sad to say goodbye to my cosy Winter outfits but I know many of you can't wait to throw off the shackles of cold weather and start wearing some transitional outfits! Here are some style tips for dressing in Spring 2022.
Not just for Spring 2022, but for any year, block-heeled boots are a major fashion essential. They always look stylish but are also practical, giving you the extra height and exaggerated posture that always makes you feel that little bit more confident.
Oversized bags are coming back into fashion but personally I love a crossbody bag. They are big enough to carry everything I need but they don't get in the way, and work well on petite frames.
We started seeing micro mini skirts and dresses in 2021 and this fashion trend is continuing into 2022. If you're worried about short, short skirts, a regular mini length will give a nod to the trend without making you feel too exposed. Wear with tights, boots and rollneck to ensure you keep toasty warm and to emulate that gorgeous 1960s look.
"Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking." They come back in every year but honestly, florals just scream 'Spring fashion' to me!
Florals and light colours are an easy, feminine way to start transitioning your outfits into Spring. I've got my eye on so many pretty floral dresses from Chicwish - they are just stunning!
This is a trend we see every year so it's an area of your wardrobe that's worth spending money on if you want to because you can get it back out every Spring season for years to come. Or, if you'd prefer to save the pennies, head to any affordable high street shop and you'll be faced with plenty of choice.
Bright green is still a massive colour for 2022 and it's one of the few colour trends I've actually spent money on! I'm normally a neutrals-only kind of girl but I've fallen in love with this shade of green.
Because it's a trend colour that probably won't be around much longer in the grand scheme of things, I'd recommend buying items in this colour from more affordable shops. My green quilted crossbody is from Shein.
