3 ways to style a noticeable patterned dress to make it feel new

I fell in love with this Sister Design Amalfi dress the very second I saw it. But a statement print can be quite noticeable, especially if you post to your socials, suddenly everyone has seen it, and it doesn’t feel as special to pull it out again and again (which, let’s face it, is what clothing is designed for, and is the socially responsible thing to do!).

I have created 3 different looks with this beautiful dress. (Currently sold out in both blue and pink, but check out the other gorgeous things they have, or wait. This dress is worth the wait!)

My first look is dressing it with a Zara denim jacket and a pair of sandals for an everyday look, a trip to the park, a nice walk, maybe a picnic?

In my second look I’m aiming for a sports luxe twist with the addition of this stylish Boden milkshake coloured bomber jacket and a pair of Lacoste trainers. I’ve styled it with a pink bag. I would wear this for a nice lunch or a day trip with friends.

For my third look I have upped the style ante, maybe for a summer wedding, garden party, or night out at a nice restaurant.

My jacket is by River Island, and the belt is Pucci (bought from The Outnet). This has been a great purchase as the colours go with so much of my wardrobe. I’m a little on the short side so have added some heeled Ted Baker sandals for a bit of height and glamour.

Buy the dress, wear the dress, enjoy the dress, repeat!

If you love the dress, rock it every chance you get. Don't worry about what social media has to say or think. You could also toss on a white shawl to dress it up a bit more and of course just wear it as is. Lastly accessories can change up an entire look, a summer hat, statement necklace or statement earrings, plus your hair style. If it's a tad too long do to your height it costs about 15 dollars to have it hemmed. I stay away from long dresses because in 4'11", adult clothing even in petite is too long. Great post

Thank you. Yes definitely all about the accessories. I’m 5’4” and sometimes struggle with long dresses to. I have a tailor on speed dial for pesky hem problems!
