Maxi Dresses to the Max!
Do you like maxi dresses? I never used to wear maxi dresses because I didn’t think they were young and hip but as fashion changes so has my taste and I’ve come to realise just how versatile they can be and grown to love maxi dresses.
I have written about maxi dresses in the past but this time I decided to discuss the various ways of styling a maxi dress.
Maxi dresses can be styled in so many various ways. To make them look more up-to-date and fashionable, make sure you style them correctly-accessories are vital.
For example in the photo above I have added a stylish bag and a blazer. The combination of a fashionable bag with the blazer (with the sleeves rolled up) make this, otherwise plain dress, stand out and create an affective look.

Here is another example of a dress that could look quite frumpy. By adding knee-high boots with a slight heel underneath the dress, I’m creating a slightly sexier look.
Another added benefit of this look is that the knee-high boots underneath the maxi dress create a warm outfit for the colder winter months.

Another way of accessorising a maxi dress is by popping a leather biker jacket over the top. The leather look of the biker jacket once again makes an otherwise frumpy, flowery dress look stylish, edgy and fashionable.
I also love to dress maxi dresses more casually with a pair of trainers and a cross body bag. I have to admit one of the main reasons that I love to wear maxi dresses is that they can hide a multitude of sins and feel extremely comfortable thus making them ideal for a long day out and about.
