Wide-Leg Denim Pants Outfits

I love wide-leg jeans because they’re so comfortable and chic. They don’t cling to your legs like skinny jeans do, and in that sense, they provide a bit of extra coverage; you won’t in any way feel self-conscious wearing them. I’ve picked out two different pairs of jeans, and I’m going to show you five ways that you can style them.
Feminine florals
This is the first pair of wide jeans that I’m going to be wearing in this lookbook and, as you can see, they are a light wash. I love a light wash in the spring and summer because I feel that it makes my outfit a bit more light and airy. I’ve paired it with a floral off-the-shoulder top. I love the pink rose petal print on it, and I think it pairs really well with these jeans. I’ve added a white belt to accessorize, and for shoes, I opted for a pair of white mules. Lastly, I added a pink purse that matches the floral print.
Double denim
The next outfit I’m keeping very casual. I’ve started with a white tank top, and then I’ve added a stripey shirt as another layer but have left it open to give the impression of a light jacket. I’ve added a pair of pointy-toe heels for a denim on denim look. These heels are unique and have a cherished place in my wardrobe. Lastly, I’ve added a blue tote. I love the mix of the different shades of blue that feature in this look.
Dark wash jeans
Here I’m wearing a darker wash pair of jeans compared to the other type. These jeans are a little more fitted and a bit more high-waisted. They are also not frayed at the bottom compared to the other pair. They are more your simple kind of jeans, just in a wide-leg style. I’ve paired them with a white top which is super crisp and airy and great for wearing in hot weather. It has a little bit of a crochet style up on the top, and the sleeves are in a bell style. For shoes, I added a pair of open-toed mules in a neon-coral kind of color. I wanted to add a pop of color to this look to give it more of a summery vibe, and I feel that these bright mules definitely do that.
Weekend chill
Here I’m dressing the pants down by pairing them with a graphic tee. The t-shirt says ‘weekend’ on it, and what better thing for it to say to create a casual, super comfy weekend outfit. I went ahead and added a black belt with some gold details to accentuate my waistline. I opted for a pair of sneakers, and I also folded up the bottom of the jeans to give it a bit more of a street-style vibe. A black crossbody bag finished up the look.
Fabulous fuchsia
For the last look, I paired the jeans with a fuchsia top that has some beautiful mesh-style poofy sleeves. I love how this top stands out and really makes a statement. Wearing it makes me feel happy and positive. I added a pair of transparent high-heeled sandals to give the look even more of a dressed-up vibe. I finished the outfit off with a white belt and a white bag in a quilted style; it’s always good to coordinate your accessories.
Those are our five looks; I hope that you like them. Whether you want to dress the jeans down for a casual weekend look or dress them up to wear on a dinner date, there are so many directions that you can go in when it comes to styling these pants. What type of wash do you prefer to wear - darker or lighter?
