How to Style Chunky Boots
Do you love how heels make you feel uplifted, confident and put together, but you hate actually wearing them? If you answered yes, then I have the solution for you!
Chunky boots became a thing a few years ago and thanks to Prada and Bottega, they came back this year. Follow along to see how to style chunky boots just in time for the winter season.
Outfit 1: Prada street style vibes
I chose this fitted black skirt, rolled at the top to reach the length I was going for, paired with a plain white t-shirt, tucked in and black stockings.
Then, for the second layer I added an oversized, black blazer, belted at the waist. If your blazer is quite long, you might even be able to wear it as a dress and lose the skirt.
I stayed consistent with my accessories in silver tones.
The final touch is my nylon Prada bag because I feel like this whole look is giving Prada street style vibes. What do you think?
Outfit 2: Total leather look
Besides the leather pants and jacket, I’ve added minimalistic earrings to not overpower the whole outfit.
Wearing a rough, men's leather jacket over bare skin definitely spices up this look!
Overall, the pieces are pretty masculine, so I like to add a few feminine details like putting my hair up nicely and carrying a small, vintage purse.
Outfit 3: Casual cool look
I’ve paired classic, blue denim with a black button-up.
For a bright, catchy accent I’ve added gold rings and a gold chain belt. I love adding this belt as a statement piece when the rest of the look is pretty muted.
Add a long, sleek coat on top if you’ve entered into colder days.
Since this look is fairly basic, almost any bag would work with it.
Outfit 4: Running errands in style
Matching colored sweat sets always look more put together than mixing. I chose this clean white set.
To dress it up, add some nice jewelry to it, like a gold chain or ice chain. Here I went with a super feminine pearl necklace.
This braided bag is one of my favorites from the past year. I like how you can hold it as a clutch as well.
Outfit 5: The faux suit
Here, I’m wearing a classic blazer and pants. It looks like a suit, but I thrifted them separately.
The special detail here is this creamy, fluffy tube top underneath. The outfit is modest, so it’s smart to add details like this.
Outfit 6: Trendy minimalist
For this final chunky boots outfit, I’ve paired leather pants with a white t-shirt and a white sweatshirt.
Wearing a sweatshirt tied around the shoulders is trendy now, so this is your time to try it out.
If you haven’t noticed already, I’m all for the simple, minimalistic looks. I’ve added the chunky chain necklace for a final touch, and it goes well with the chunky boots.
