Use a Blue Jean Skirt for This Iconic 90s Denim on Denim Look
Here, I’m going to show you how you can transform a denim mini-skirt into a stylish top without any sewing involved.
Don’t believe that it can be done? Keep watching to find out what to do.
1. Put on skirt upside down
All you need to do is put your skirt on upside down so that the zipper is at the top.
In order for this to work, you want to opt for a skirt that has quite a straight up-and-down shape to it instead of an A-line shape.
2. Do skirt up
Next, button and zip the skirt up, and your top is complete! Simple as that.
Now I’m going to show you some ways you can style the top:
The first way you can style it is by adding a belt into the belt loops. This adds a stylish accessory to your skirt top.
You can also tuck the bottom of the top into your pants and add a second belt around your waist that matches the first one.
I love this denim-on-denim look.
For some added coverage and warmth, throw on an oversized blazer over the top.

The last way you can style the skirt top is over an oversized shirt. This makes the skirt look like a corset which is a really flattering look.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how a denim skirt can be transformed into a top without any sewing involved! Give this a try for yourself.

Very inventive! It looks great on you 😊
The waist of the skirt is still at the top and the hem of the skirt at the bottom…..NOT upside down. Unless you mean the skirt is now being used as a top!
