DIY Starbucks Costume for Halloween

Love your Starbucks coffee so much you want everyone to know it? How about making a DIY Starbucks costume to show your devotion to this famous coffee company.
I’ll show you how to make this Starbucks Halloween costume perfect for you or your child. Making a DIY coffee cup costume isn’t hard at all and will take you almost no time to put together.
Let’s get started making this coffee cup Halloween costume for a caffeinated Halloween!
Tools and materials:
- White t-shirt
- White jeans
- White sneakers
- Headband
- Transfer paper
- Tan colored felt
- Stick on velcro
- Paper towel or wrapping paper roll
- Dark green paint
- Paint brush
- Brown paper bag
- Double-sided tape
- Scissors
- White painters bucket
- Disposable coffee lid
- Paper and pen
- Color printer
1. Get the clothes ready
You’ll wear a white t-shirt, white jeans, white socks, and white sneakers. Now let’s get the costume ready.
2. Make the DIY coffee sleeve for your body
Search for the Starbucks logo online. Print onto the transfer paper with a color printer as big as you can make it.
Measure the tan colored felt to fit around your waist and for the length you’d like.
Cut the Starbucks logo. Follow the directions for your transfer paper for ironing or sticking.
Attach the velcro tape to the inside of the tan felt along one edge with the two velcro pieces stuck together.
Fold over the felt edge to meet the velcro pieces. Peel off the sticky part of the velcro tape so it sticks to the folded edge. This will look like a loop or a coffee cup sleeve.
Place the logo in the center. Slip that on to wear around your chest and waist.
3. Make the trick or treat basket
Prepare the straw first. Paint the paper towel or wrapping paper roll with the dark green paint. You don’t have to paint the entire “straw” - only the part that shows. Set aside to dry.
Measure the brown paper bag to go around the white painter’s bucket. Leave some of the white bucket to show so it looks like a real Starbucks cup.
Cut the paper and tape to the bucket.
Print a smaller Starbucks logo, center it and tape to the brown paper.
Put the straw into the bucket.
4. Make the headband
Tape a disposable coffee cup lid to the headband.
5. Decorate the sneakers
On a piece of paper, write “Caution” and “Hot”. Cut out the words and tape to the back of your sneakers.
