Easy and Elegant Makeup Look for Mature Women
In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to create a stunning evening elegant makeup look.
This look is especially fabulous for older women, whether you have a glamorous event coming up or just want to add a touch of elegance to your evening.
The products I'm using today are from the Look Fabulous Forever range, made specifically for mature skin. However, you can achieve the same results with any brand of product.

Tools and materials:
- Face primer
- Lip primer
- Eye primer
- Foundation
- Blush
- Eyebrow gel
- Eyeshadow palette
- Mascara
- Translucent powder
- Lipstick
- Lip gloss
- Assorted makeup brushes
1. Prime your face
The first step is to ensure your makeup stays in place all night long.
I always start with primers: a face primer, a lip primer, and an eye primer. This creates a smooth canvas for the makeup.
2. Apply foundation
For a flawless base, apply foundation to even out your skin tone.
3. Add blush
Apply the blush to add a lovely flush of color to your cheeks. You can always add a bit more later if you feel like it.
4. Tend to your eyebrows
Fill in your brows if they're sparse. Well-defined brows frame your face beautifully.
5. Apply eyeshadow
For an evening look, try brown eyeshadows and a touch of green.
Apply the green shade all over your lid and the mid-tone brown in your crease.
Use a forest green shade as an eyeliner, and smudge it out with glitter cocoa for a smoky effect.
6. Add sparkle to your eyelids
Add a small amount of the sparkling lid color to the center of your eyelid for a subtle shimmer.
Then blend it in to even it out.
7. Don’t forget mascara
Apply mascara to enhance your lashes. If your lashes are sparse like mine, focus on defining them with liner and eyeshadow.
8. Finish with translucent powder
Dust a bit of translucent powder all over your face to set your makeup.
It gives a beautiful, matte finish without looking too shiny.
9. Add blush (again)
If needed, add a touch more blush for that healthy glow.
10. Add lipstick
For a bold statement, use red lipstick. It's perfect for a special night out.
Add a dab of lip gloss to the center of your lips for an extra pop of shine.
