Three Ways to Wear a Jacket This Fall

Now that the weather is cold enough to wear a jacket, I find myself trying to style my jacket different ways. I think this adds a little more flare to any outfit especially now that jackets are becoming essential as Fall turns to Winter. I recently purchased this adorable plaid jacket from Target and here are the three ways I like to style it.

I love to style my jackets like this when the weather is a little warmer during the day and you don't need so much coverage. I leave my jacket unbuttoned and and unbelted. This allows you to show off your outfit choice underneath while not overheating.

I like this style for those colder days or when I need to look more professional. I button almost all of the buttons and tie the belt around my waist. This also gives a nice shape to your jacket and body. This style is more sophisticated and would work well for any type of work function or a day at the office.

This last style can be worn casually or professionally. I like the idea of tying it in the back and leaving the buttons undone. This look shows that you are not only thinking of how the jacket looks in the front but in the back as well where style can sometimes be lost.
