This is great if you’re new to makeup as you can learn the step-by-step process of building on an eye look.

- Foundation
- Beauty blender
- Rose gold sparkle liquid eyeshadow
- Assorted brushes
- Bronzer
- Brown liquid eyeliner
- Matte brown eyeshadow
- Eyelash curlers
- Black mascara
- False lashes (optional)
- Tweezers
- Eyeliner gel
- Concealer
- Cream contour stick
- Finishing powder
- Powder puff
- Peach face color stick
1. Apply foundation
Cover your face with spots of foundation and blend with a beauty blender.
Be sure to dab some on your eyelids as well.
2. Apply liquid glitter eyeshadow
Apply your rose gold liquid eyeshadow to your eyelids, up to where it naturally creases.
Then slightly buff it over the socket line with a brush.
3. Apply bronzer at the sockets
Apply a small amount of bronzer at the sockets.
4. Apply liquid eyeliner
Next, apply brown liquid eyeliner, starting at the center of the lid, in line with your pupil.
Tip: use a small, craft brush if your eyeliner applicator is not flexible.
Next, drag the line to make the winged end.
For even more drama, turn this into a thicker, along the eyelid.
To get the right angle, imagine your lower eyelid line continuing up at an angle, but don’t take it any higher than the highest point of your eyelid.
Use a brush with matte brown eyeshadow to soften the cat eye.
5. Lift your lashes and apply mascara
Use eyelash curlers.
Then apply 1-2 coats of mascara, blinking your lashes on the brush to cover both sides of the lashes.
You can stop here if you’re happy with the density of your lashes like this. It looks beautiful and minimalistic.
6. Apply false lashes (optional)
For more volume and density, apply false lashes with tweezers.
Then use a relatively dry mascara wand to seal the false lashes to your natural lashes.
Aim for the center of the false lashes to avoid weighing down the tips.
I prefer going without mascara on my lower lashes now that I’m older.
You might stop at this point:
7. Add liquid glitter eyeshadow at the tear ducts
Add glitter eyeshadow to highlight the tear duct area for a small, glitzy finish.
This is sufficient for a daytime look:
8. Take the look to night time
Run a brown pencil at your lower waterline.
Then buff some of the matte brown shadow under your lower lashes.
Make sure it reaches the eyeliner we already applied and connects to the outer corner of the top lid.
Then frame the glitter at the tear duct area with a bit of eyeliner gel mixed with the brown eyeshadow on a small brush.
Then soften this line with a brush dipped in the eyeshadow.
For a feline finish, use the very tip of the brush to create a point at the inner corner of the eyes.
Apply a coat of mascara to your lower lashes.
9. Apply concealer
Apply concealer under your eyes and through the center of your face for a brightening effect.
Blend with a dampened beauty blender.
Mine has some residual foundation on it, which helps create a seamless finish.
10. Apply contour
Apply your contour and dab with a beauty blender.
Tip: blot over the contour until it blends instead of smearing it.
11. Apply finishing powder
Press finishing powder onto your skin with a powder puff. This removes some shine and adds a blurred finish to the skin.
12. Apply peach lip and cheek color
Use the same color stain on both your lips and cheeks.
This creates a harmonious look. Apply the stain to the back of your hand and pick it up with your makeup brush to dab on your cheeks.
This concludes our glitter eye makeup look. Take a look at my before and after:
