Hair Hack for Getting This Knotted Look
If you admire knotted hairstyles but think they’re difficult to achieve, then have no fear! I’m going to show you exactly how you can create a knotted hair look for yourself.
And, believe me, it really isn’t as complicated as you think.
Tools and materials:
- Hair elastic
1. Wrap hair around finger
First, separate your hair into a half ponytail. The first stage of knotting is wrapping it around one of your fingers, as shown.
Where your finger is creates a hole.
2. Twist hole
Twist the hole and move it slightly over to the side. You can take a look at the video to see what this looks like.
3. Pull hair through hole
Next, pull your hair through that hole.
4. Tie with elastic
Tie the top of the ponytail below the knot with a clear hair elastic to make it more secure. Then, tighten the ponytails.
5. Pull on hair
Gently pull on your hair at the top to loosen it up a bit.
