My Easy Hack for Getting That Slicked-back Look
Is your hair a bit frizzy and all over the place? Are you dreaming of neat, slicked-back hair?
Here, I’m going to show you my easy hack for getting that slick back look.
Tools and materials:
- Parting tool
- Hairbrush
- Gel
- Hair tie
- Hair scrunchie
1. Divide hair into a section
Start by creating a center parting, then divide off a small section of hair at the front of your head on each side.
2. Tie hair back
Tie those two front sections of hair together at the front of your head, then comb the rest of your hair back and tie it in a ponytail.
3. Add gel to hair
Squirt some gel onto your hairbrush and then brush the two front sections back.
This will make the hair sit close to your head with no flyaways.
4. Tie hair into bun
Now let down the back section and tie all of your hair into a bun. Pull out the bun slightly to give it some more volume.
5. Add scrunchie
Place a scrunchie over the bun to finish off the look.
Easy hack for getting that slicked-back look
Here is the finished hairstyle. The front of the hair is gelled down, giving me a really slick look.
