7 Quick and Easy Steps to the Cutest No Sew Denim Shoulder Bag

In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to make a denim shoulder bag by recycling old jeans in just ten minutes! This jean shoulder bag appeals to both men and women and you only need a few materials to make it entirely without sewing. Let’s get started.
Tools and materials
- Pair of jeans
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Hot glue/Super glue
- Zipper
- Webbing tape or a chain
1. Cut out a rectangle
Cut out a rectangle from both sides of the leg of your jeans that is 8 in x 8 in. Then, cut one side of it open.
2. Glue down the zipper
Place your zipper in the center of the cut-open denim rectangle. Fold one end of the jeans over ½ inch for a neater edge and then fold it over again to meet one side of the zipper. Super or hot glue it down. Repeat on the other side.
3. Glue the belt loops
Next, cut off the belt loops from the jeans. You’ll need two.
Glue them to the denim bag, making sure to keep the loop intact and usable.
4. Glue the bag closed
Flip the bag inside out and glue the open edges together.
5. Cut excess zipper
Cut off the excess fabric of the zipper.
6. Glue the zipper flaps to the bag
Glue the zipper flaps to the inside of the bag so they are no longer hanging off.
7. Add a strap
Add rings to the belt loops and insert and glue webbing tape to use as a strap.
Alternatively, you can use a fun-colored chain.
8. Decorate (Optional)
You can decorate your bag however you want, but I glued down multi-colored felt hearts.
