Use a Silk Scarf to Transform Your Straw Bag Into a Timeless Accessory
If you have a large straw bag, and you have lots of scarves, then you actually have lots of large straw bags!
With this great hack that will show you how to tie your scarf on your bag, every scarf you have, can transform your bag into something brand new!
Tools and materials:
- Large straw bag
- Large scarf
1. Wrap your bag
Begin by placing your bag in the center of your large scarf.
Pull your scarf up over your bag, so that your bag is fully enclosed in the scarf.
2. Tie your scarf
Bring one corner of your scarf through one bag handle, on the side closest to that scarf corner.
Tie that scarf corner onto the handle.
Repeat tying the rest of the scarf corners to their respective handles, always keeping the scarf knots at the very bottom of the handle, so they are tight to the bag.
How to tie a scarf on a bag
Now your old straw bag is bright and colorful.
By changing up the scarf you can completely change the style of your bag, and match it to any outfit!
And since you haven’t done anything but tie the scarf, when you’re not using it to cover your straw bag, you’ve still got it to use as a regular scarf.
