Using fun colourful beads and resin-is such a fun quick way to create and make unique jewellery that nobody else will have!

Beads & molds

The molds are in a variety of shapes available on line to purchase and so easy to use.

I decide to use a pink rose bead which fits into the little mold perfectly. I squeeze them both ready for resin.

Adding resin

Making sure well ventilated room and face mask on for protecting against fumes. I squeeze the resin carefully over the beads and making sure it flows into all corners. Any air bubbles I use pin to prick them out quickly before it starts to set.

Uv light

It’s possible to cure the resin out in natural sunlight however it is slower process and I use an uv light which takes two or three minutes . If it’s sticky underneath when taking out of the molds then I pop it under the lamp again for a minute.

Lifting out of mold

I then fix the jump rings and ear hooks onto the earring using round nosed pliers. This is easy as the mold created a ready made hole!

Adding ear hook

I repeat the process for the other earring. I like to use sterling silver hooks to prevent any ear irritation.

beautiful little uniques pair ready to wear.
