It’s the summer, maybe you just finished working out and you’re just trying to get by in the middle of a heat wave!


Follow along to learn how to refresh dirty, sweaty gym hair in a few simple steps.

Tools and materials:

  • Dry shampoo
  • Hair dryer
  • Wet hair brush
  • Comb and claw clip (optional)
Using dry shampoo

1. Use dry shampoo

Give your hair a good spray with your favorite dry shampoo, focusing it mainly at the roots.


2. Blowdry your hair

Flip your hair over and use a hairdryer to dry in the dry shampoo.

3. Brush your hair

Brush out your hair with a wet hair brush.

4. Style your hair

Next, style your hair as usual. I’m lifting sections of hair and backcombing by the roots for my go-to quick styling look.

Then I pulled my hair back with a claw clip for a simple, clean look.
