How to Plop Wavy Hair Overnight With a T-shirt

Here, I’m going to show you a cool hack for how to dry your hair when it’s way too hot to blow dry it.


Keep reading to find out how to plop wavy hair to achieve gorgeous curls without using a hairdryer!

Tools and materials:

  • T-shirt
Plopping hair

1. Plop hair on t-shirt

Grab a cotton t-shirt and plop your hair over it like so.

2. Tie t-shirt

Tie the two arms of the T-shirt together at the base of your head.

Tucking t-shirt

3. Tuck t-shirt under

Then, tuck the rest of the T-shirt under the bottom.

Leaving t-shirt overnight

4. Leave in overnight

Leave your hair in your t-shirt overnight so that it can absorb all of the water. The next day, take your hair out of the t-shirt.

Here is the finished look.


Plopping my hair in a T-shirt overnight means that my hair was kept protected and didn’t get squashed - the final look is gorgeous, voluminous waves.

    I use this hack every time I wash my hair. Sometimes it's just a super messy clipped up mess with a bit of mousse and it looks great
