In this DIY, I’m going to show you how to turn a plain pair of jeans into jeans that shine by using some iron-on foil.
Follow along as I take you through step by step.
Tools and materials:
- Transfer gel
- Brush
- Denim jeans
- Foil
- Iron
- Protective paper
1. Apply transfer gel
First, paint the transfer gel onto the jeans.
2. Add foil
Next, lay the foil on top of the gel.
3. Iron foil on
Place the protective paper on top of the foil and iron it on.
4. Peel off top layer
Peel off the top layer from the foil.
Repeat this process wherever else on the jeans you would like the foil to be.

Here are the finished jeans. I only put foil down one of the legs as I really like the contrast between the plain denim on one side and the shiny rose-gold foil on the other.
This is a super stylish look, and this technique is a great way to elevate a pair of plain denim jeans.
