How to Give Your Clothes More Sparkle With Homemade Buttons
I recently have been experimenting with amazing power of resin and already had some success with jewellery making so attempting buttons seemed easy!
I wanted to try making some sparked ones to being some pizazz!
I begin by putting some purple pink alcohol ink into the button molds. At this stage the depth of colour is determined by how many drops you add.
Next I squeeze some uv resin into the button molds and mix it round to an even colour with the ink. I choose the bigger sized button shapes.
I add some glitter sparkles into the mix and again stir it to distribute evenly as possible. I repeat this in all four molds.
Then it’s under the uv lamp to cure for a few minutes each side.
I carefully remove the pink sparkly buttons from their molds and put them under the uv lamp again for two mins till all don’t feel tacky.
After a little clean up with cold water and check no little edges need smoothing etc it’s ready to think about what to see them onto! So gorgeous and sparkly 💖
