Colored pencil earrings
Start by cutting the pencil's tip with a small saw. You can rotate the pencil as you go along to make sure the cut is as straight as possible. Be careful not to cut the table or fingers. That’s why it’s best to cut the pencil on a stone for this step.
Next, cut a 2cm (0.78”) piece for the back.
Sand the ends on both raw edges.
Use superglue to glue an earring post to the front.
For the back, use scissors or any other pointy object to hollow the pencil. Do this until you can see that you can fit the earring post inside.
Then, fill the hole with hot glue and let it cool.
Once the glue is dry but soft, pierce the glue with the earring.
To protect the pencil and make sure it does not smudge any color on your clothes, paint the tip and end with clear nail polish.
All done! What do you think of these cool customized earring jewelry made from colored pencils?
Colored pencil pendant necklace
For the necklace, start by aligning all the pencils to your desired position.
Mark where you’ll cut each one.
Cut all five pencils and sand the raw ends on each piece.
Attach small screw hooks to the outer pencils on either side.
Then, use superglue to stick the pencils together.
Attach the necklace chain using jump rings and pliers.
Finally, paint a coat of clear nail polish on the tips.
Your colored pencil necklace is complete! Do you like this style?
Colored pencil bracelet
If you want your pencil jewelry to be more discreet, like this bracelet, this is for you! It does not look like a pencil at all. Cut a piece off the blunt end of the pencil.
To make it more colorful, you can cover it with either washi tape or colored nail polish.
Screw the hooks on each side.
Use a suede cord or any other thick cord on hand to make the wristband. Fold a piece and loop the folded cord through the hook on either end.
Then, tie a knot.
Close the bracelet by attaching crimp ends, jump rings, and a clasp. Glue the crimp ends on first.
Use your pliers to crimp them down.
Then, feed through your jump ring and clasp and tighten everything with your pliers.
Don’t forget to place a jump ring on the other end!
There you go, a beautiful (yet discreet) bracelet made from a pencil!
