So I'm so excited to show you my cute overalls, how I made them and how to style them up 2 ways!!

The pattern is the True Bias Riley overalls, which you can get here > True Bias Sewing Pattern Riley Overalls | 1425360 | Minerva

Which I made in a really lovely Linen cotton blend which you can also get here > Minerva Core Range Washed Linen Cotton Blend Fabric | 1424264 | Minerva

Aren't they cute!!

The first step is to add darts and pockets to the back trouser legs.

Next and importantly we are going to construct the straps.

Next we need to create the front pockets.

Next we need to stitch the legs together at the side seams and then the crotch seam.

Next we just need to add the front bib and the straps to the back and were all done, so lets style them up!!

I really love my new overalls, I'm definitely loving dressing like a toddler!! Here I'm going with the classic white tee with my dungarees, super cute for a day in the garden or shopping round town.

But for a cosy, snug winter look I've styled them up with a super warm turtle neck sweater which I think would be a really cute outfit to meet friends for coffee or for a lovely crisp walk in the cool autumn air!
