Edgy Date Night to Casual

Went on an actual date night with the hubs recently, which never happens, so I wanted to wear something cute, but also be comfortable because we weren’t doing anything fancy and also because let’s face it, middle age comfort becomes a bit more enticing! I opened for an edgy blazer outfit (told you, I’m a fan of blazers) and one that could easily transition to an even more casual outfit in a quick shoe change.

I paired a black blazer with an oversized graphic tee and faux leather leggings. I grabbed these leggings in the fall from Amazon and I love them because they are not too long for short gals like me. To make a contrast color as well as an edge, I went with my newest pair of ankle boots from Maurice’s that’s are super comfortable by the way. They have a rubber sole so traction is never an issue!

Plot twist! We are going to bowl! Ditch the blazer, or don’t, and toss on a cute pair of sneakers. Takes the outfit from edgy to casual.
