Fingertips vs foundation brush

1. Fingertips vs foundation brush

If you like your foundation to be on the light side, the best way to do it is to apply your foundation with your fingertips.

The warmth of your fingertips will help that foundation absorb and melt into your skin. This will give you a light, flawless look.

Fingertips vs foundation brush

If you like your foundation on the medium side, use a brush.

There are a few different foundation brushes you can use. We love angled, wide ones because it helps the foundation get into your skin and look good.

Fingertips vs foundation brush

If you want your foundation on the heavier side, use a Beauty Blender. This will give you an overall more glam, full-face look.

Applying blush to eyes

2: Apply blush to your eyes

If you have an event to go to but you look tired, apply pink and metallic blushes to make yourself look well-rested and wide-eyed.

Apply these at the center of the bottom of your eye. This will make your eyes pop and give the illusion that you’re awake.

Applying makeup

3. Turn broken powdered makeup into liquid makeup

Don’t throw away broken makeup. If your powder highlighter breaks, you can blend it with a moisturizer and use your fingers to apply it on your face.

You can turn it into a wet, dewy highlighter instead of the powdered one.

Foundations

4. Buy two different shades of foundation

If you feel like it’s impossible to find the perfect foundation shade, that’s because it is!

One single color isn’t going to work for you, since your face has different shades.

The best way to achieve the best match is to get two shades of foundation and blend them together to get the perfect shade.

Arrowroot powder

5. Apply arrowroot powder for lashes fuller

Here’s a tip to make your eyelashes pop as if you’re wearing falsies without actually wearing them.

First, apply a matte coat of mascara then sprinkle arrowroot, or baby powder without talc, on your lashes while it’s still wet.

Then, apply one more coat of mascara. This will give it a lift and give the illusion you’re wearing false lashes.

You can also apply the powder to an eyebrow brush and apply it that way, too. It’s super easy to do and gives you a really dramatic effect.

Using clear brow wax as lip liner

6. Use a clear brow wax pencil or gel as a lip liner

If you don’t have a lip liner, or you don’t have the right color lip liner for the lip look you’re going for, you run the risk of your lipstick bleeding out and looking nasty.

Use a brow wax pencil or a gel to line your lips and then apply your lipstick. This will keep your lipstick from bleeding.

Using lipstick as contour

7. Use brown lipstick to contour

If you only have powdered contour but you want a dewy contoured look, use brown lipstick to contour.

It’s so easy! All you have to do is use it like a contour stick and apply it like normal. Just make sure you blend it really well.
