  • 1 lb (16 1”x1” cubes) goat’s milk melt and pour soap base
  • ½ tsp pink mica colorant
  • 10 drops almond fragrance oil
  • 15-20 drops red cherry fragrance oil
  • ¼ cup quick oats
Tools
  • Silicone 4” soap mold
  • 4 cup microwave safe measuring cup
  • Wooden craft stick, or something to stir the soap
  • (optional) spray bottle with rubbing alcohol.
  • Soap cutter or knife
Instructions
  1. Cut the soap base into 1-inch cubes and place it into the measuring cup.
  2. Heat soap base in the microwave for 30 seconds, remove, and stir well. Heat in 30-second bursts, stirring well between each heat session, until soap base is fully melted.
  3. Add mica colorant, stir well. *Tip: to help prevent color clumps, you may add mica to a very small bowl or dish, and add a very small amount of rubbing alcohol, then stir. This can help the color blend easier.
  4. Add fragrance oils, stir well.
  5. Add most of the oats, but set some aside to sprinkle on the top. Stir well.
  6. Pour soap mixture into the mold, spray with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles.
  7. Sprinkles remaining oatmeal over the top. Allow soap to set for about 4 hours.
  8. Remove soap from the mold and cut into (4) 1-inch bars.
Notes

To prevent color clumps, it is advisable to add mica to a very small bowl or dish, and add a very small amount of rubbing alcohol, then stir. This can help blend the color easily.
