Steps for Papaya Facial at Home

Cleansing– First of all wash your face with lukewarm water. Take 1 Tsp papaya puree, to this add 1 tsp Curd. Gently massage for 2-3 mins, and wipe off your face with cotton dibbed in rose water.

Steam– Now, add boiling water to a bowl, and add 2- 3 drops of essential oil to the water, (this step is optional). Create a teepee over your head….. lol !! Cover your head and shoulders with a towel, and keep your face about one foot from the steam. Close your eyes and relax for five minutes.

Scrub – Take 1 Tsp Papaya puree and castor sugar. Mix and start scrubbing very gently for about five minutes. Gently rub around the delicate areas i.e under the eyes.

Massage- Take some papaya puree, to this add lavender essential oil and milk cream ( malai). Use gentle pressure to massage the face—likewise, massage under the eyes and alongside the neck. Gently press fingers above the brows. Keep Massaging for five minutes.

Face Mask– Take a Tsp of Papaya Puree and a tsp of fuller’s earth, and add honey to make a paste. Suppose you have oily skin and add Lemon juice to it. Keep it on for 15-20 mins, meanwhile cover your eyes with two cucumber slices. Wash off with cold water, to seal the open pores.

Face Moisturizer- Take 1 Tsp of papaya puree, add 1 tsp aloe vera gel, a few drops of sweet almond oil, and a capsule of Vit E. Blend together and gently massage all over your face. This moisturizer works great as a night cream, dab a small amount and keep it overnight.
