Romantic Half-up Hairstyle
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to do this romantic half-up hairstyle.
This style is perfect for a first date, a wedding, or any formal event.
Let’s get started.
Tools and materials:
- Hairpins
- Hair ties
1. Pin back the top layer
Pull the top layer of your hair back loosely from the sides and pin it in place.
2. Tease
Tease the top to give your style some volume.
3. Twist and pin sections from the side
Take a small section from one side of your hair and twist it around your finger.
Then, pin it over the top layer to hide the pin. Repeat with a small section on the other side.
4. Tie back and tease a larger section below the band
Take a larger section below the twisted band and tie it back with a hair tie.
Pinch and pull at the sides to give it more volume.
5. Create another section over the previous
Take a section from both sides and tie them over the previous section. Pinch and pull to give it more volume.
Repeat this process all the way down.
